Physicians Network Association (PNA), located in Lubbock, Texas, was founded in 1991. It is a physician-owned organization. We currently provide health services to over 17,000 inmates in 24 facilities in three Southwest states. Over 6,000 inmates in Federal Bureau of Prisons and United States Marshals Service custody, 7,000 inmates in state prisons in Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico are in our care. PNA's experience includes all levels of custody, dentention, commitment, and community corrections, male and female adults and juveniles. We are especially experienced in special needs populations, including the mentally, chronically, or terminally ill.
Our corporate executive team is comprised of experts from a variety of medical and hospital specialties with a combined 170 years of experience. PNA has achieved initial American Correctional Association (ACA) or National Commission on Correctoinal Healthcare (NCCHC) accreditation (all types) in the majority of our facilities and was one of the first private healthcare providers to achieve Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) accreditation at a Federal Bureau of Prisions institution.
